Steve very kindly agreed to participate to an online chat organized by Spot In The Corner.net's affiliate, Steve Carlson Fans.com.
The event is scheduled for today, Friday 10th October, at 8.30pm Los Angeles time. All you need to do to participate is register to their forum (right here) and send a private message to the forum's administrator (nickname, Dee Dee) with the screen name you intend to use for the chat room.
I realize this update is a little late in coming, but still I hope it can be useful to some of you. :) Have fun, and if you feel like sharing your experience, you're more than welcome to send in a fan report. ;)
Stay tuned for gallery, upcoming gigs and lyrics updates during the weekend!
Thanks so much to Dee of Steve Carlson Fans.com for all the heads up!

KANE, the band Steve founded with Christian Kane in 1998, is no more. Steve announced it at the EyeCon convention that was held in Orlando during the past weekend (26-28 September). While the news didn't surprise the KANE fans, what with Steve and Christian's music having taken different directions for some time now, the official announcement saddened everyone involved in the fandom. But it comes a time for musicians to part ways in their careers. I wish all the best to both Steve and Christian. KANE have gifted us with incredible songs and sizzling performances throughout the years. While their band work will be missed, I'm sure KANE's ex-members will keep on rocking and will still be giving us amazing music. So do keep an eye on all of them. ;) To the KANE guys, Thank you for ten years of the best country-rock people could ever wish for.

From Christian Kane's myspace: "We have just been informed that the Chris Cagle show previously sheduled for Queen Creek, AZ on August 16th has been Canceled. We are disappointed to miss this opportunity to play again for folks in AZ; but that's the nature of a supporting slot. Some things are just out of your control. We hope to set something up out your way again soon." That's a real shame, as lots of fans were looking forward to see Steve and Christian play togethe again. But I'm sure there will be another chance soon, so stay tuned, either here on Spot In The Corner.net or on Steve and Christian's myspace. :) If you had already purchased tickets, you can head over here for refounds and additional info.

Hey everybody! It's Steve's birthday today, so I thought I'd take advantage of the day off work and finally update the website. First and foremost, let me apologize to all of you for the lack of updates. I have no other excuse but that of real life getting in the way. :P Anyway, to sum it up; - the Gallery was updated with some more leaflets and pictures from Steve's gig at the Asylum Supernatural convention in May, provided by the lovely Chevy; - a benefit concert that has Steve scheduled for May 2009 has been added to the Upcoming Gigs session; - and a new link is now featuring on the Links page (namely Amanchamn's Sounds so Good fanlisting; go and check it out ;) ). What else to say... In case some of you didn't yet know, "Stripped Down" is now available on iTunes, as well (along with all the rest of Steve's albums, of course), and Steve is currently busy recording his next album! Yup, the man's tireless. :D Finally, Happy Birthday Steve!! Thank you so much for all your music.
That is all from me, guys. I'll be having a bit of time off soon and I hope I can manage to erase all those "coming soon" scattered around the website. I hope you're all having a great summer! Your lazy webmistress, Sonia
